The digestive system is important because it lets you eat and live. The mouth is important because it mashes your food so you can swallow and the saliva glands make the food moist. The esophagus is important because it lets the moist food enter the stomach. Then it digests the food for 3 hours so then enzymes eat bacteria and then it goes to the small intestine. so it is in the small intestine which are tubs that enter the large intestine. it is in the large intestine which is connected to the rectum which is connected to the anus.
